Just What the Sievers Ordered

Originally from Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, the Sievers family have lived in six different states. However, it looks as though they have found the perfect spot to settle down for a happy retirement. Brought to Florida by the wonderful weather, they have found a home in Grand Palm of Venice where they can enjoy all that the sunshine state has to offer as well as an amenity rich community complete with wonderful neighbors.

When the Sievers moved into their Grand Palm home it did not have an outdoor kitchen but the Sievers knew they needed one. After all this is the perfect climate to enjoy long hours poolside and evenings entertaining guests and making memories. After a dear friend recommended American Outdoor Cabinets, the Sievers gave us a call and we went to work, sending Greg out to their home for the initial free

consultation. Like many of our customers, this was their first outdoor kitchen and the Sievers did not have any concrete idea of what their new outdoor space should look like. So, Greg worked with them on creating a space that would fit their lifestyle as well as fit right in with the Spanish style of their home’s exterior and the contemporary look that the Sievers have throughout the interior of their home. Pairing classic white cabinetry with a sport trim style to create clean lines and topped with the perfect stone to complement the gorgeous existing pavers.

Together, Greg and the Sievers created an outdoor kitchen that fit their space perfectly. The one component they really wanted was an outdoor refrigerator and the one thing this new space must do is provide for their entertaining needs. The final result is a fabulously functional outdoor kitchen with great flow from the inside to the outdoor space with a clean look that the Mrs. just loves.

Upon completion of their outdoor kitchen, the Sievers wasted no time in putting it to good use creating their first great grilled meal of steak and veggies. This new space has truly transformed their lanai into a functional entertaining space to be enjoyed by all their family and friends leaving the Sievers with a true “Life Is Good” feeling, every day.
