The Bielen's Waterfront Haven

This native Florida family was preparing to remodel their home’s kitchen, they made the intelligent decision to add an outdoor kitchen to their home first. This not only provided them with an alternative for their daily cooking needs during the interior renovation but allowed them to add a custom outdoor space for entertaining and most importantly adding another level of enjoyment to their gorgeous home.

The Bielens were drawn to their home by their love of the water. Their gorgeous Mediterranean inspired home, located on beautiful Blackburn Bay, provides this family with splendid water views and all the water sports you can imagine. Needless to say, this family loves the outdoors. So, it was important to make their new outdoor kitchen a place for them to take full advantage of their home’s amazing location.

They had heard about American Outdoor Kitchen from a previous neighbor. When they called us, we were beyond excited to help them plan their outdoor space. Working with Andrew Hunt, they honed the design that worked best for them. This process is of utmost importance, even the Bielens daughter was able to provide her input into the design. The result is a space that really works for everyone in the family. The “L” shaped layout provides a fantastic lookout point to view their pool and spa area as well as the perfect place to take in the view beyond.

This high functioning outdoor kitchen includes our easy to clean HDPE cabinets. This was a very important feature for the Bielens. After all, don’t we all wish we could keep our cabinets gorgeous with minimal effort? The cabinets are stain resistant and can be hose rinsed. The addition of quality stainless-steel appliances further adds to the functionality. A large grill with added side burner provides ample cooking space. The stainless-steel faucet and sink combo seated in the gorgeous granite countertop makes food preparation a breeze without having to run indoors to wash or rinse. The final and most favored item is the outdoor refrigerator. This item is often a favorite, entertain with ease without always having to lug your travel cooler to provide cold beverages.

Now that the Bielens have a completed outdoor kitchen they are most excited about planning future family get-togethers and spending even more time bayside. They had this to say about their finished project:
