This L-shaped outdoor kitchen demonstrates how good planning, high-quality materials, and careful craftsmanship can create a space that is both practical and attractive. The layout uses the classic kitchen work triangle, making it easy to move between the grill, refrigerator, and sink, while also offering plenty of counter and storage space.
L-Shaped Kitchen Layout
The L-shaped layout is one of the most flexible options for outdoor kitchens. It helps create a smooth workflow and gives you more counter space for preparing food, serving, and entertaining. In this design, we carefully planned the inner corner so it both looks good and works well.
You can design an L-shaped corner in different ways. One way is to use a diagonal corner cabinet for extra storage. Another is to make a sharp right-angle corner with custom panels.In this kitchen, we chose the right-angle option. HDPE panels create a smooth 90-degree corner, giving the kitchen a modern, clean-lined look. This choice also keeps the design strong and weather-resistant.
Quartz Countertop
A light-gray veined quartz countertop tops the cabinets and matches the Charcoal cabinet color. The veining adds interest without taking over the design, making the space look polished and high-end. Quartz is a great choice for outdoor kitchens because it is durable, easy to maintain, and stain-resistant. It works well for both preparing food and entertaining. HDPE Outdoor Cabinets & Storage
All the cabinets in this kitchen are made from solid HDPE, which makes them very durable and long-lasting outdoors. The layout is designed to be both balanced and practical, and includes:
- Two 15″ base cabinets with top drawers, positioned on both sides of the refrigerator to create symmetry.
- One 30″ two-door grill cabinet
- One pull-out trash cabinet with a drawer, located to the right of the grill for convenience
- One 15″ sink base cabinet
This setup gives you plenty of storage and keeps the kitchen neat and organized.
Cabinet Style & Color
The cabinets have a Charcoal finish, a deep gray that works well in both modern and classic outdoor spaces. The Sport style is a modern take on the shaker design, with a thin square groove on each door and drawer. This small detail adds depth but keeps the look clean and modern.
